Children activities and parties (separate areas/spaces for children and arrangements for the materials)
1. Is there any property offering separate pool space for children?
Yes, many pool owners are offering their property where you can arrange different children's parties and activities.
You can see the amenities section of the pools you are browsing and would like to select as per your needs.
The amenities usually list all the standard and exclusive facilities offered by the host.
2. What if I don’t find the required facility on the listed property?
You can contact the host for your required information via the Resortifi messaging feature. The Resortifi app or website lets guests communicate with their potential host before and after the booking. You can easily confirm details or ask what will keep the reservation process going smoothly. Make sure to have conversations only on Resortifi chat, so it is easier for the Resortifi team to confirm conversations or track events if required. Sharing personal phone numbers, contact information, or making payments offline or at the pool/backyard (with cash or credit card) is a violation of Resortifi Terms and Conditions. After the booking is closed, you and the host can review each other. We appreciate both honestly communicating their experiences.
3. What to do to confirm my booking?
You must request a booking with a definite date and time. If the host has Instant Booking enabled on their Pool/Backyard, they may be Confirmed already when they contact the host. If the host manually approves the reservation, it may show as Pending. Moreover, you must complete your profile.
4. How can I know if the host's property is safe for the children's party?
At the Resortifi platform, all the pool owners and hosts have been notified to follow the pool safety protocols to avoid potential hazards.
You can view these protocols that they are following, under the property’s Safety section.
- Pool maintenance & cleaning chemicals - Use chlorine carefully to kill waterborne bacteria and parasites. Keep all chemicals away from the pool/backyard area.
- Keep a First aid kit for emergencies as well as portable telephones, US Coast Guard-approved life jackets, throw-able life preservers (ring buoys), reaching poles, a shepherd's hook, and scissors to cut hair, clothing, or a pool cover.
- Ensure that the pool/ backyard address is posted in the pool area in case of an emergency, as the Guest will need to be able to give the address to First Responders.
- Ask Guests to be responsible for children and keep them under their constant supervision. Ask Guests to designate an undistracted adult (a Water Guardian) to always watch children. You can order Water Guardian badges for your Guests from our water safety partners at Colin’s Hope
- Signage - Post the signage showing pool safety rules, areas for Guests to avoid, or other instructions to keep Guests aware and safe.
- The pool area should be secured with a fence that has a self-closing, self-latching, and locking gate. Keep these areas closed.
- Guests should remove all toys from the pool/backyard when they are finished.
- All pool drains should be VGB compliant and checked frequently to ensure the covers are unbroken and not cracked or missing screws.
- The grill must be situated a safe distance from your pool/backyard in a well-ventilated outdoor area.
- Instruct guests never to leave the grill unattended.
- Keep children away from the grill
