Is the Resortifi Protection Guarantee an insurance program?
The Resortifi Protection Guarantee is the mutual agreement that protect hosts and guests, and is subject to the Resortifi’s Terms of Service.
- This program doesn’t substitute host’s home owner policy but can partially cover the gap of the same through its insurance-backed coverage, available without any additional charges for all Resortifi platform’s reservations.
- For property damage, Resortifi’s Terms of Service make guests responsible to bear any property damage to a host’s property. In case of any conflict, the program’s applicable coverage protects the host.
These programs are not like a stand-in for homeowners’ insurance.
Based on the claim and its amount, the reimbursement under the Resortifi Protection Guarantee might be paid by Resortifi.
Reimbursement Claim Filing – What to do before?
Parties are encouraged to resolve the matter mutually for small claims by contacting with each other via secure messaging platform offered by the Resortifi Protection Guarantees. If not resolved, the claims can be forwarded to contact Resortifi Customer Care claims team at: support@resoritif.com.
The team tries to resolve the matter by facilitating settlement; however, such dispute should be communicated to them on immediate basis.
If you already hold an insurance that may cover full or partial cost arising out of damage or injury during the reservation, like home owner insurance or health insurance, it is advised to file a claim against that policy prior to file Resortifi reimbursement claim.
