Booking equipment and amenities as per specific requirements
1. Can I also book other amenities besides a pool or backyard?
Absolutely. Depending upon your requirements, you can search for the appropriate properties near you that can offer you your desired amenities or fulfill your specific occasion requirements.
2. Where can I see the amenities the property has to offer?
The hosts usually list all available rentable amenities in their property description. If still, you have any specific queries, you can chat with your potential host via the Resortifi chat platform.
The platform lets you chat with the host to know more information about the pool/backyard. Even for bulk booking, pets inquiries, and additional amenities, you can always write to us at info@resortifi.com.
3. Do amenities come with additional charges?
Yes; your pool booking usually includes only the pool rental; however, based on the host or property, some amenities can be offered as a part of the booking or complementary. It depends on your host and the property you are booking. Or else, the host charges the amenities separately.
4. What is the payment term for the amenities?
It can be either a lump sum amount or an hourly rate basis. Again, it depends on the property.
Resortifi has thousands of listings (such as pool, backyard, resort, guest room, garden etc) on the platform and you can have many options to choose from in terms of amenities required and the payment terms for the same.5. What kinds of amenities are available with the property?
The exact number and nature of amenities that can be rented out along with the pool are based on the host and the amenities he/she offers; however, usually, the following amenities are available with different kinds of property we have listed.
- Backyard
- Outdoor BBQ grill
- Access to Gas/electricity connections for different equipment like grill or sound system
- Sound system
- Pool accessories like flatboats, flat tubes, goggles, water sports stuff like volleyball
- Food serving table and chairs
- Beany bags
- Towels, sanitizers, sunscreen
- Washroom access
- Children play with stuff like badminton kits, drawing and craft boards
- Cooking utensils and cutlery
6. What happens if any damage happens to amenities?
If the damage happens due to mishandling, misusing, or carelessly handling any amenity, the guest will have to compensate the host for the same.
Resortifi platform is not liable for any property damage that is beyond the Insurance Program it offers to hosts and the guests.7. How to use the amenities provided by the host?
You must use it safely and properly, meeting all the guidelines. Keep children under your strict and continuous supervision while they use any amenities.
8. How to ensure the amenities provided by the host are safe to use?
The Resortifi platform has issued certain safety guidelines to the hosts to be followed to ensure their property and amenities remain free from health and safety hazards for the guests.
Water Safety Guidelines to be taken care of by Hosts
- Pool maintenance & cleaning chemicals - Use chlorine carefully to kill waterborne bacteria and parasites. Keep all chemicals away from the pool/backyard area.
- Keep a First aid kit for emergencies as well as portable telephones, US Coast Guard-approved life jackets, throwable life preservers (ring buoys), reaching poles, a shepherd's hook, and scissors to cut hair, clothing, or a pool cover.
- Ensure that the pool/ backyard address is posted in the pool area in case of an emergency, as the Guest will need to be able to give the address to First Responders.
- Ask Guests to be responsible for children and keep them under their constant supervision. Ask Guests to designate an undistracted adult (a Water Guardian) to always watch children. You can order Water Guardian badges for your Guests from our water safety partners at Colin’s Hope.
- Signage - Post the signage showing pool safety rules, areas for Guests to avoid, or other instructions to keep Guests aware and safe.
- The pool area should be secured with a fence that has a self-closing, self-latching, and locking gate. Keep these areas closed.
- Guests should remove all toys from the pool/backyard when they are finished.
- All pool drains should be VGB compliant and checked frequently
Slides
- Graded as per U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC Safety Standard for Swimming Pool Slides (16 CFR Part 1207)
- Slides must be made from sturdy, molded handrails, wide ladder treads with enclosed steps, and high sidewalls.
- Slides should be properly installed and affixed to a mound of earth or concrete.
- Slides should not be on poles or mobile.
Diving Boards
- Diving boards must be as per American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
- Diving boards for residential pools can maximum be 3M in height.
- The pool should have a standard diving well depth of 7.5 to 9 feet and must be a minimum of 16ft wide and 32ft long
Cooking zone
- The grill must be situated a safe distance from your pool/backyard in a well-ventilated outdoor area.
- Instruct guests never to leave the grill unattended.
- Keep children away from the grill
- Guests are not allowed to swap out the grill's gas tank under any circumstances Use Guidelines for grill types
Propane
- Prevent the accumulation of propane gas while lighting the grill.
- Use the electric ignition
- Only turn on the propane when you are ready to light the grill
- Keep the grill’s top open to prevent propane accumulation
- Never let the propane keep running without the unit being lit. This causes a serious condition that can lead to propane flash fire.
- Follow all the safety information required in case of using a propane grill.
Charcoal barbeque grilling
- To lit, the soaked briquettes, use a lighter with an extension and light from the bottom of the grill
- Don't spray lighter fluid on the burning coals
- Never use it for grill fires since it is extremely flammable.
