Payouts
1. Can I adjust my transaction history?
An adjustment is an amount of money a host owes as a result of a cancellation, booking change, or violation of our Guest Refund Policy.
To check the status of an adjustment:
- Go to your Account Settings
- Click Transaction History
Adjustments are applied against the payout method of the associated booking and are automatically deducted from the next scheduled payout. If your booking follows Payout Routing Rules, the adjustment will be split according to the percentages that you set up, on a per-listing basis. Please note that this excludes adjustments and refunds approved through the Reosrtifi Resolution Center.
2. How do I print receipts and payout details for completed bookings?
To print individual receipts for a booking:
- Go to the Today tab and click Show all to access your Bookings
- Tap Details on the booking you want
- Tap Print to view and print the details of a booking
To see all of your payouts and transaction details in a CSV file, log in to your Resortifi account on a computer or using a browser (ex: Chrome, Safari, Firefox) and follow the steps below:
- Go to Menu and select Transaction History
- Click Export to CSV to download the file
3. When can I expect my payout?
Here is the good news: Your money is coming! However, when will you get it? We will send your payout about 24 hours after a guest checks into your place.
If your guest is using your property multiple times a month, you will receive your payout monthly for their bookings.
If you have multiple listings with check-ins on the same day, funds will usually be deposited as a single payout. If you have a minimum payout amount set, your payout won’t be released until that amount is met.
Get set for your payout
Your bank and payout method will determine how long it will take for your funds to arrive in your account. Be sure to set up at least one payout method for your account!
Once we’ve sent your funds, a Payout line item will appear for that guest's booking. You can always check the status of your payout via your transaction history.
Average processing times
As soon as Resortifi releases your payout, it is sent for processing before it arrives with your payment provider. This means some additional time is usually needed for the money to finally settle in your account.
PayPal: Within 1 business day
Western Union: 1 business day, depending on the country
Payoneer Prepaid Debit Card: 1-3 hours
International wire: 3-–7 business days
Bank transfer/ACH/direct deposit: Up to 7 business days
Weekend or holiday delays
Banking systems do not process transactions on weekends or holidays, so yours will be processed the next business day. Contact your bank directly if you have any questions.
Timing and transfer reviews
All transactions may be reviewed before they are sent. For example, we may review a transaction to prevent fraud. This could result in funds being delayed, paused, or, in rare cases, removed from your account. In these cases, we may be required to limit account permissions and payment transfers, and you may be asked to provide additional information to verify your identity.
Reviews are part of standard processes conducted to prevent fraud and comply with regulations.
Fees may apply
In some cases, the financial institution you use to get your money may charge an additional fee(s).
3. Where can I review my payout transaction history and status?
You can always check the status of your payouts in your Transaction history.
Click the booking code to display payout details. Pro tip: You can easily search your transactions by filtering by payout method, listing, or date.
5. What are the ways payout can be calculated with?
Ready to count your earnings? Here’s how it works:
Your hourly rate plus your optional extra charges (a cleaning fee or extra guest fee, etc.) minus the Host service fee = your received payout.
This fee is calculated by multiplying the total booking amount by a percentage and then is automatically subtracted from your payout. Your guests do pay a service fee to Resortifi in addition to the cost of your listing. So your guest's total price is higher than your payout.
For more information on your payouts, check out your transaction history.
If your payout and set price don’t match
Your listing price is 100% up to you! Here are some things that can impact your payout:
Calendar pricing: Weekend pricing or custom calendar pricing
Length-of-stay discounts: Your weekly or monthly discount
Long-term bookings: Payments are collected and released in monthly installments
Routing rules or minimum payout amounts: Changing your settings for routing rules or a minimum payout amount
VAT: Value-added tax (VAT) may be added in addition to the Resortifi service fee
Currency exchange: If your listing currency doesn’t match your payout currency, the exchange fee is deducted from your payout at the time of payment (to avoid this charge, simply change your currency in your listing’s pricing settings)
Adjustment fee: If you initiated a refund to your guest, or if you cancel a previous booking
Host coupon: If your guest used a host coupon you sent
6. Can I add my payout method if the same is not already available?
Go to Account > Payments & payouts > Payouts
Click Add payout method
Choose your billing country/region to find payout methods available to you
Select the type of payout method you want to use, then click Continue
Add the requested info, then click Next
If you've set up more than one payout method, you can choose a default.
Getting paid
When it’s ready, the payout will be released to your payout method for processing. You can check the status of your payouts at any time from your
Transaction history, found under Settings > Payouts & payments.
Adding different payout types
You can choose from:
- Bank transfer/direct deposit: Use info from a check to enter your bank transfer/direct deposit routing number and account number. Wait for a small deposit to confirm your account is ready. "For Further Credit" accounts (FFC) are not eligible for direct deposit
- International wire: Depending on your location, you’ll need to enter your account number or IBAN, which your bank can provide. Fees may apply. More about international wire transfers.
- Payoneer bank transfer/debit card: Enter your name as it appears on your official ID. Payoneer will need to approve your details before you can receive payouts. More about Payoneer debit card.
- PayPal: Make sure your account is activated on PayPal before adding it as a payout method. More about PayPal.
- Western Union: Enter your name as it appears on your official ID. Fees apply. More about Western Union.
- AIS debit card: This payout method is no longer available because of United States government restrictions. If you previously used an AIS card, you'll need to set up a new payout method that's available for your country or region.
7. How can I receive my payout via PayPal?
Paypal is only available as a Resortifi host payout method in certain countries. To find out if it's available to you, check out your options when you add a payout method. If it's listed for your selected country or region, you'll be able to connect your existing PayPal account as a payout method.
Connecting your PayPal account
To successfully use PayPal to receive host payouts, activate your PayPal account before adding it as a Resortifi payout method. Then, when adding your existing PayPal account to Resortifi make sure that you correctly enter the email address associated with the PayPal account.
PayPal may require you to verify your account by providing additional identification or proof of address. If this requirement applies to you, any Resortifi payouts released during the PayPal verification time will be deposited into your account after it's verified by PayPal. During that time, Resortifi will notify you through email that there's an error.
Find out more about PayPal, including how to create an account, at PayPal.com.
Receiving payouts
When your newly added payout method is ready, PayPal allows you to receive Resortifi payouts directly to your PayPal account. After Resortifi releases your payout, PayPal typically delivers the funds to your account within 1 business day.
8. How do I know if my payout method is working or not?
It usually takes fewer than 7 business days for a new payout method to receive payouts—you can find the verification time for each payout method. When your payout method's status shows as Ready, it can receive payouts.
Please note: For some hosts who haven't yet added a payout method, you'll need to add your taxpayer information first in order to get the option to add a payout method. Find out more.
If your payout method isn’t working, it may be pending or have an error:
Pending: If you just added a payout method or updated an existing one, we’ll send an email when it’s all set up.
Error: Sometimes you may need to update a payout method or add more info. If a payout method isn't working, you can remove it and try adding it again or add a new one.
